Professor, U.S. Military Academy. Report in a letter to the Chief of Corps of Engineers, of Professor Bartlett's visits to the observatories in Greenwich, Oxford, Cambridge, Dublin, Armaghe, Edinburgh, Paris, Munich and Bruxelles dated 16 February 1841 and providing detailed descriptions of the buildings and astronomical equipment, official copy accompanied by copies of letters requesting and authorizing the journey.
